Berlin, Copenhagen – October 31, 2024 – GRID, a data platform specialized in in-game data technology, data distribution, and monetization, has entered into a multi-year partnership with BLAST, the leading global esports entertainment company. This partnership aims to harness the power of esports data to create engaging fan experiences.
This collaboration is notable for its broad scope, covering not only esports data monetization but also the joint development of innovative, data-driven products. These initiatives will enrich the esports ecosystem while adding new value to BLAST’s CS2 and Dota 2 competitions and its streaming platform, BLAST.tv.
Starting in December 2024 with the upcoming BLAST Dota Slam, all esports data and live streaming feeds from BLAST tournaments in CS2 and Dota 2 will be exclusively available on the GRID Data Platform.
In addition to product innovation and data distribution, GRID will provide BLAST with integrity solutions powered by advanced data technologies.
The new data solutions developed through this partnership will be available to all of BLAST’s partners alongside GRID’s data monetization services.

Integrating GRID’s game-title-agnostic data infrastructure with BLAST’s tournament solutions, we can equip any game across any genre with a comprehensive, data-driven ecosystem. Together we aim to elevate esports with enhanced broadcast experiences, innovative fan engagement tools, and sustainable revenue streams.”
Alexander Lewin, SVP of Commercial Revenue at BLAST, added: “Building successful and long-term partnerships in esports is a huge area of focus for BLAST. GRID had already been an excellent partner during BLAST’s early days and with this deal will once more become an important component of our ability to leverage data when creating and delivering world-leading esports ecosystems.”
