Partnership brings official live match data to broadcast experiences, giving fans deeper insight, greater context, and more immersive access to League of Legends esports.
SEOUL, South Korea / BERLIN, Germany — April 1, 2026 — Naver, one of South Korea’s leading technology companies, today announced a partnership with GRID, the official live data platform of esports, to integrate official real-time match data across CHZZK, NAVER’s live streaming platform
NAVER’s platforms, including CHZZK, reach audiences at a significant scale. In particular, the main NAVER App reaches more than 48 million daily active users in South Korea. The partnership expands how esports audiences engage with live competition by bringing official data directly into one of NAVER’s most important digital surfaces: live broadcasts.
Beginning with the LCK regular season on April 1, CHZZK will introduce official real-time statistics into its League of Legends esports broadcasts.

Together, these integrations are designed to create a more connected, informative, and immersive viewing experience for fans, while reinforcing NAVER’s position at the center of digital sports and entertainment experiences in South Korea.
The initial rollout on CHZZK will include a suite of official live data features, including:
- Real-Time Win Probability Graph — showing how each team’s chances of winning evolve throughout the match, helping viewers better understand momentum shifts and turning points in real time.
- Early-Game Control — highlighting which team is establishing an advantage in the opening stages of play, based on key signals such as First Blood and objective control.
- Match Timeline — providing a structured view of major in-game events, including champion picks and bans, objective fights, and decisive moments that shape the outcome of a match.
Powered by GRID’s official live data infrastructure, the experience will launch across LCK, MSI, and the League of Legends World Championship, with plans to expand to additional major global leagues over time.
The integration will also extend to co-streaming, enabling audiences to access official live statistics while watching matches alongside their preferred creators. This combination of creator-led viewing and official data is expected to strengthen CHZZK’s differentiated approach to esports broadcasting and further deepen fan engagement.
Kun Bum Joo, Vice President of NAVER Entertainment Content, said: “Through our partnership with GRID, we are enhancing the viewing experience with official real-time match data that helps fans engage more deeply with League of Legends esports. By combining trusted data with community-driven interaction, CHZZK is delivering a more intuitive, immersive, and differentiated experience for esports audiences in Korea.”
Dominika Szot, VP of Growth at GRID, said: “Official data is becoming an essential part of how fans experience esports across digital platforms. We are proud to partner with NAVER to bring official, real-time League of Legends esports data into one of Korea’s most important consumer technology ecosystems. Together, we are enabling richer fan experiences across both broadcast and search, making live esports more accessible, interactive, and engaging.”

The announcement is especially significant in South Korea, one of the world’s most influential esports markets and a longstanding center of excellence for League of Legends. In Korea, League of Legends has evolved into a mainstream cultural and competitive force, with approximately 25 million players nationwide. The 2025 League of Legends World Championship Grand Final reached a peak of 6.7 million concurrent viewers, with Korean ranking as the most-watched language across the tournament. South Korea also continues to represent the deepest talent pipeline in the sport, with 44 South Korean nationals competing at the 2025 World Championship, more than any other country.
