For the third year in a row, an all-star cast of GRIDers will descend upon the Moscone Center in San Francisco for GDC — March 18-22, 2024. Find the team this year at GDC Booth S568 (by Epic Games) leading walkthroughs of the GRID Game Data SDK & API product demos, handing out copies of the GRID Guide to In-Game Data and exchanging big ideas about in-game data.

Moritz Maurer
CEO & Founder
Moritz is a serial entrepreneur of pioneering companies at the intersection of tech, gaming and sport. Before founding GRID, Moritz ran the first UK gambling commission regulated bookmaker for esports (GGwins) which got acquired by Genius Sports (NYSE:GENI). In 2018, he founded GRID with a goal of unlocking the potential of in-game data for everyone with innovative technology and access to official data.

Julian Schwartz
VP – Business Development
Julian is GRID’s most recent addition, joining the team just in time for GDC. Most recently, he worked as Strategic Partnership Manager, Games Publishers at Youtube and before that was Head of Global Esports Business Development & Partnerships at PUBG Corporation. Julian’s keen ability to foster meaningful relationships with high-level partners and strong belief in working with Leadership and Product are sure to come through in conversations this month.

Mark Bate
Senior Partner Solutions Architect
Mark’s love of technology, data & design has led him on a curious career path through graphic design, esports, bioinformatics, high-performance computing, startups, cloud (AWS), voice (Alexa) and developer communities over the last 20 years. As Senior Partner Solutions Architect, his experience helps game developers and startups understand the cloud technology and data infrastructure solutions GRID delivers to publisher partners.
Mark will be leading a tech talk on the GRID Game Data API during two GDC after-hours events — RSVP: 19th March // 20th March.

Will Thornton
VP of Publishers
Will has a history of developing early stage startups on the path to becoming fully established companies actively working with high level corporate partners. Will started in data a decade ago collecting and selling live stats for the Major US sports leagues, working up to VP of Publishers at GRID. Will’s experience shines when working with publishers like KRAFTON, Riot Games and Ubisoft.

Dylan Donghyuk Kim
Senior Business Partner – Korea
Dylan has worked in esports for 20 years across planning and operation of tournaments, media, esports prediction solutions and the esports game data industry — from South Korea to Europe. With many senior roles under his belt, he has led efforts for the likes of Estack and the Korean World e-Sports Games. His experience and relationships play a pivotal role in cultivating business with industry stakeholders in Korea, such as KeSPA, driving growth and opportunity for the GRID.

Dominika Maria Szot
Head of Marketing
Dominika is an award-winning marketing professional with a wealth of experience in marketing strategy and growth developed through the years of working at game publishers, platforms, and game-tech companies.. As GRID’s Head of Marketing, she spearheads the company’s marketing & growth efforts. She’s passionate about providing access to official in-game data to the community of fans, students and future talents empowering them with the right resources to build their projects and develop new skills. In her free time she hosts the IT’S HER GAME podcast focused on female professionals in gaming.

Head of Game Developer Success
Romet Vinkel has a wealth of expertise overlapping from the data, gaming and sportsbook industries and has been with GRID from the start. He’s working hands-on with Riot Games to ensure the professional teams and organizations’ experience working with the VALORANT Data Portal and LoL Data Portal is flawless.

Isak Höglund
Game Developer Success Manager
Isak hails from Jönköping, Sweden — the city of Dreamhack — and has worked in tech startups for over five years, bringing experience from his time at SoundCloud to the innovative in-game data sector. As Game Developer Success Manager, he ensures that deliveries specifically with Ubisoft are executed perfectly on-time and meet the collaborations high standards of quality. Samuel Tabbo
Senior Product Owner & Design Lead

Olle Andreasson
Staff Engineer
Olle has over 10 years of experience as a back-end developer and was one of the first developers at GRID building the Data Platform to what it is today. With previous experience in the dating tech industry, he understands the importance for end users of getting a platform right. He was recently promoted to Staff Engineer in January.
