Kokonister, the Kazakh esports tournament organiser, has partnered with GRID for exclusive official data rights to two of its flagship Counter-Strike 2 events: the BRO Summer Cup 2026 in August and the Pavlodar Ertis Cup 2026, starting 25 July.

Under the partnership, GRID will distribute official live match data from both tournaments, delivering fast, reliable coverage directly from the game servers to media platforms, fan experiences and commercial partners worldwide.

Based in Atyrau, Kokonister has helped establish a year-round home for competitive Counter-Strike in Central Asia. Its events, including the Kokonister Seasonal Series, the Atyrau CyberCup and the Pavlodar Ertis Cup, bring together teams from across the region, giving emerging players more opportunities to make their mark.

By adding Kokonister’s tournaments to its portfolio of official esports rights, GRID continues to expand the range of competitions available through its official data platform, bringing trusted, real-time match data from more of the world’s leading and emerging esports events.

“Central Asia’s Counter-Strike scene has been building real momentum, and Kokonister has been at the centre of it,” said Stefan Dokic, Partnerships Development Manager at GRID. By making official live match data from the BRO Summer Cup and Pavlodar Ertis Cup available through GRID, we’re helping ensure these tournaments can reach more fans, media platforms and technology partners with the speed, accuracy and reliability that official data provides. We’re excited to support Kokonister as it continues to grow competitive Counter-Strike in the region.”
